Our goal every year remains the same: To promote fitness, family fun, health and a sense of community. Last year, we continued our patriotic tradition which we started in 2001, paying tribute to our beloved country and community. Our event overflowed with a sense of people uniting in a patriotic and caring way. With the funds raised last year, we were able to provide much needed support to the following local organizations that serve our community in many vital areas, and one local family in need.
* Berkeley Heights Education Foundation - provides school enrichment programs
* SAGE Spend-A-Day - adult daycare and Alzheimer's care
* Berkeley Heights Police Athletic League - youth sports programs
* Summit-Area Baby Center - provides support for local infants in need
* Summit Speech School, New Providence - helps hearing impaired preschoolers
* Our House Inc. Berkeley Heights Group Home - assists developmentally-disabled adults
* Berkeley Heights Rescue Squad & Berkeley Heights Fire Department
* Berkeley Heights Recreation Commission & BH Environmental Commission
* Family Promise of Summit - helps families in need thru interfaith hospitality networks
* Santa Claus Shop, Summit - keeps the spirit of giving alive for over 600 local families in need
* Berkeley Heights Public Library Foundation - providing much needed library resources
* The Wounded Warrior Project - Grassroots organization providing comfort to injured servicemen and women returning home from the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan, www.woundedwarriorproject.org
* VFW post 6259 Berkeley Heights - provides resources for local vets & aids those @ Lyons Hospital
* The Summit Area Red Cross - provides resources during local crisis
